Invisalign
What’s healthier about straighter teeth?
Misaligned teeth can lead to premature wear, tooth loss, gum disease, and the buildup of bacteria associated with bigger problems, including heart desease.
Malocclusion: Abnormal tooth alignment
More than seven out of ten American adults have some kind of issue with their bites, such as crowding, spacing, or overbites.
Is Invisalign®the right treatment for you?
For many people, the answer is yes. Whether you just want to love your smile a little more, you think you’ve got a particularly tough case, or you’re a teen and your teeth are still growing in, see what Invisalign® treatment can do for you.
The Invisalign® difference
Invisalign® clear aligners are an alternative to traditional braces and are designed to help guide teeth into their proper position. Similar to braces, they use a gradual force to control tooth movement, but without metal wires or brackets. The aligners are made of a strong plastic material and are fabricated to fit each individual’s mouth. If a series of aligners are needed, each aligner moves the teeth in increments until the desired movement is achieved.
Invisalign® clear aligners have been used to treat minor to complex malocclusion for more than 5 million patients worldwide.
The advantages to using clear aligners:
- Clear aligners are removable so it is easier for you to brush and floss after meals
- Clear aligners are easier to keep clean
- Clear aligners are comfortable and less likely to irritate your gums and cheeks
- Clear aligners can prevent tooth wear from grinding
